Kirkwood Builders turned out to be a perfect fit for us. The first thing that we want to know when we are taking on a client is whether or not they provide a great service. As we have said multiple times before, every client is not a good fit for us, and we like to make sure that the client’s business cares about their customers, and provides a high-quality service. Kirkwood Builders hit every one of those points, and we were looking forward to create a website for them that would be posed to take over the market. Project turned out great, client is very happy, and the website is already climbing the ranks, and has added over 100 keywords that it is ranking for in only two weeks!
Kirkwood Builders had an existing website, but it was a few small pictures, and relatively little content. We knew this one fit our style perfectly, we wanted big imagery all over the site, and a significant amount of content that describes who they are, what they are about, and why they should be your choice for a custom home build in the Triangle. Now that we knew who the target market was, we began the keyword planning stage, and immediately started developing a website that would be SEO optimized to dominate Google for both the home page, and all of the individual service pages we developed.
A secondary strategy for this site was to not limit them to search results where there headquarters is located, but to also rank them in the full Triangle area. This was implemented through a series of strategies built directly into the site, and after only a few weeks, it was already climbing the rankings in area that they previously had no search presence. Since they are building houses in these areas, they should also have a web presence through various search engines.
The finished product was released in May 2018, and almost immediately they were ranking on the first page for terms they were previously on the second page for, and they have already added 100 keywords that google is showing them in the search results for.
